Mount Rinjani Trekking 2 Days 1 Night Start Senaru
Mount Rinjani Trekking Senaru Creater Rim.
Start climb from Senaru village – overnight in campsite at Plawangan Senaru Crater – and then back to Senaru village again – transfer to your hotel on the last day.
Do not forget you order breakfast box at your hotel reception, then you can enjoy breakfast in car while driving to Senaru village under foot of mount Rinjani reach 2 hour, because on the first day start climbing mount Rinjani does not include breakfast in our service.
This route appeals to those short of time, climbing to Mt. Rinjani Crater Rim. This trek is start and end in Senaru, The trekking highlight is the spectacular views of the Lake Segara Anak within the volcano’s crater.
This gentle trek is good for beginners, or family with children (minimum 10 years old) within good level of fitness and extra porter are recommended to look efter the kids.

- Day 1: Senggigi - Senaru - Crater Rim, overnight in tent.
- Day 2: Crater Rim - Senaru - Senggigi/Airport.
Pick up at 05.30 am in your hotel and transfer to the trek point at senaru Village (601m) about 2 hours drive from Senggigi area, registration at Rinjani Trek Centre (RTC). Meet your mountain Guide and porters than start the trek through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Rest stops are taken along the way. Lunch served en route at Pos 2 MontongSatas shelter (1,500m). After lunch continue walk up another 2 hours to pos 3 MondokonLolak (2,000m), take some rest here than on to another couple of hours through grassy meadows to Plawangan 1 Senaru/ Senaru crater rim at 2,641m.
Reach the crater rim around 5pm, enjoy the views across the lake SegaraAnak to the summit of Mt. Rinjani and crater Gunung BaruJari (2,351m), an active volcano. On a clear evening the Gili Isles, Bali and Mt. Agung can be seen to the west. Reach the Crater rim around 4 or 5 pm, set up the tent and enjoy the views around.
Dinner served at the campsite
Sunrise at the crater rim is a memorable to Day 2. Enjoy the morning view of Senaru Crater rim.Leave the crater rim after breakfast, descend the trail down to Senaru village through first grassland then back into the shade of the tropical forest. Lunch served en route. After about seven hours from the rim, the trek ends at Rinjani Trek Center at the road head in Senaru where the car is waiting to transfer you back to Senggigi or airport. End of program.
